clean coal will distract you from the ever rising seas
scientists have given us a decade for a deadline
after that no turning back the end is growing nigh

oblivion is imminent
our fears have come to fruition
end of days, Armageddon
our perverse vitiation

I don't want to die like this!

humanity's inexcusable corruption
can be seen defiling our oceans
plastic bags and floating trash
sands of time through the broken hourglass
corporations slit our throats to save an extra buck
they're the rotting branch of our plant that must be cut
mother earth does not deserve to crumble to her knees
obliterate the corporate reign and she can be set free
